Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Patrino has always had an interest in the sciences, but also has a more creative, artistic side. To him, dentistry is the perfect combination of science and art. Another interesting fact is that Dr. Patrino's Dad was a dental technician, so I guess you could say that dentistry runs in the family!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Originally from Akron, Ohio, Dr. Patrino received his bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University. He then moved to Florida, where he attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry. After graduating, Dr. Patrino completed a two-year General Practice Residency at The Veterans Administration Medical Center in Washington, DC. After returning to Florida, he was the sole owner and dentist of his own dental practice for 22 years, where he was able to care for multiple generations of patients.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When he is not working, Dr. Patrino enjoys spending time with family and friends, or you might find him out on walks with his beautiful miniature schnauzer, Luna. Dr. Patrino also enjoys cinema, music, photography and cooking. Being that he's Italian, you might catch him cooking up some of his favorite Italian dishes in his spare time!
